Dear Daughters Loves Mom

What are the signs and symptoms of aging I should look out For?

 Dear Daughters,

Aging is one of the oldest concerns of the human being, and knowing its symptoms and causes helps us understand it better and delay it. Life expectancy has increased considerably in the last century, and medical advances mean aging is later and not as deadly as previously.

We age because the macromolecules that make up our body lose their function over time. What are the symptoms of aging, and how do they show up? Here we explain the most important characteristics of the physiology of aging:

  • Appearance of the first wrinkles”

This is usually the first symptom of aging, and is the most noticeable at first glance. The skin loses its elasticity in some areas and marks the signs of facial expression. Over time, the wrinkles will s

Spread to other body areas.

  •      “Loss of agility and reflex reaction capacity”

Over the years, the time we need to respond to a stimulus is longer. Reflex reactions slow down, and this is compounded by the loss of agility, which can mean it takes more effort to practice sports or do basic tasks.

  • “Appearance of senile dementias”

Alzheimer’s physiology can be diagnosed up to 20 years before its most serious phase, and its first symptoms are one of the characteristics of aging. Such symptoms can be short-term memory loss or disorientation episodes, and are often attributed to stress, but they can be much more serious as they persist over time.

  • “Decreased immune capacity”

With the passage of time, it is easier to catch contagious diseases, like the flu. When we were younger, our immune systems were better able to protect themselves from these viruses, but this ability is reduced with increasing age.

  • “Progressive loss of the senses “

Another of the most well-known signs of aging is hearing loss, associated with progressive loss of senses, including taste or sight. Our senses are deteriorating little by little, and due to aging, we are losing abilities to see and hear clearly.

The aging process begins when the body’s cells repair is less than the damage they suffer over time. This process occurs at different times in each person. This process can’t be stopped, but its effects can be reduced by following a healthy diet and active lifestyle.

  • “Visible pores”

The pore is the opening through which the growing hair comes out. Each hair has an oil gland that produces the sebum that the skin needs to be lubricated. After age 40, pores become more visible on the face, which has a negative aesthetic impact on women.  Dark spots app

  • “Age Spots”

Age spots appear on the skin due to sun exposure. What is known as photoaging. When to get these spots checked out? A dark lesion on the skin is known as an age spot. Older adults will have them on the back of their hands, face, or arms. This type of lesion is unpleasant, yet benign. They have smooth borders, are uniform, and are painless.

Melanoma patches are typically black or dark brown with ragged edges, and can change color over time. Consult a doctor as soon as possible if they begin to grow, appear dark color. It has a wavy border, it bleeds, itches, or hurts.

  • “Drying of the skin”

The skin becomes dehydrated, dry and rough. The softness of the skin directly correlates with water. To protect the skin from water loss, the sebaceous glands produce an oily substance called sebum. Over the years, its production decreases, and this, added to environmental conditions, causes the skin to lose water and become drier and tighter.

We can’t stop the ageing process, but you can make decisions that help us stay vivacious and healthy.

As Always ,

Love Mom
